License Agreement

1. Introduction

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of PropertiesEditor and other commercial software products ("Software") developed and distributed by OTools.

By installing, activating, or using the Software, you agree to the terms of this Agreement.

2. License Grant

OTools grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software in accordance with the license plan you purchased.

The number of devices on which the Software may be activated is determined by the purchased license plan.

3. Trial Period

The Software may be used during an available trial period without purchasing a license. After the trial period expires, a valid license is required to continue using licensed features of the Software.

4. License Restrictions

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially distribute the Software or license key.
• Share a license key beyond the number of devices permitted by the purchased plan.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Modify or circumvent the Software's licensing, activation, or security mechanisms.
• Use the Software in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

5. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. OTools retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including its source code, design, branding, and related intellectual property.

Purchasing a license grants only the right to use the Software under the terms of this Agreement.

6. Updates

OTools may provide updates, improvements, or new versions of the Software. Availability and eligibility for updates may depend on the applicable license plan and version.

7. Third-Party Components

The Software may include or depend on third-party software components. Such components remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

OTools does not guarantee that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every system, environment, or third-party product.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OTools shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Software.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

10. Termination

Your license rights under this Agreement may terminate if you materially violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and remove copies covered by the terminated license where required.

11. Changes to This Agreement

OTools may update this Agreement when necessary. The current version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
